A Lantern and a Walk
Every autumn evening, a little hedgehog named Henry lit his tiny lantern and went for a walk through the cozy forest. But tonight, the forest felt a little too quiet and a little too dark.
A Friend in the Dark
Soon Henry heard a small sniffle. A baby owl had tumbled from its nest and couldn't find its way. 'Don't worry,' said Henry warmly. 'My lantern will help us look.'
Lighting the Way Together
Together they walked, Henry's lantern glowing like a little sun. They passed glowing mushrooms and sleepy beetles, all waving hello in the warm light.
Home to the Nest
At last the lantern lit up a tall tree where Mama Owl waited. 'You found my little one!' she hooted joyfully. The baby owl hugged Henry with a soft wing.
The Warmest Walk Home
Henry walked home with a heart as warm as his lantern. 'A light is brightest,' he yawned, 'when you share it.' He curled into his leafy bed and slept, glowing with happiness.
